I was doing some research this afternoon for something I'm writing [I'll post what I write in a few days, and you'll realize this isn't quite as impressive as it sounds], when I came across this site.
As Halloween is approaching, this is the time of year when candy is becoming more important to everyone. Please be sure to visit this site to make sure you're not responsible for giving away, or, God forbid, eating any bad candy this Halloween. Bad candy may sound like an oxymoron, but it is a horrifying reality you must do your best to avoid. Not everything sold labeled "candy" is made of delicious chocolate, you know.
Be sure to see this site for some gross candy to avoid, and Allie's posts on this topic, as well.

Here's some more bad candy that Liz and I attempted to eat.
I think I'll hand out stale popcorn balls that every child hates...
A friend of mine once bit into a rancid maggot-filled peanut butter cup.
Does that count?
Hey girlfriend- I was going to reply to you on my blog, but I will reply here as well.
I love the three column look here, and the color scheme is ab fab. The only thing I recommend you do is widen your margins a little bit, particularly your right sidebar margin. On Mozilla, your dictionary.com entries overflow the borders and on IE, the entire left sidebar is pushed to the bottom of the page because the dictionary stuff is too wide. That is because IE is a douche. lol I'm not sure if the HTML code for the dictionary.com stuff allows for size changing directly within the code, but that might also be worth trying.
That earlier part of my tutorial that involved changing the widths of the various wrappers should help ya otherwise.
If you need anything else, let me know!
Did you know you can generate cool banner logos at www.cooltext.com and you can use that to make a snazzy banner for your page?
C'mon- join Blogger whoredom wholly and completely. Like the rest of us!
Michael - Great read, there! Hope you got paid for your contribution to science, and that you weren't paid in candy. ;)
Matt-Man - You can't be handing out that stuff; even if it were fresh, no mom will give her kiddie something not machine packaged -- there could be razors in there, you know! And if they know you gave them out, I'm sure they'll go immediately in the trash, lest they be laced with WIR.
Bruff- Hmm, maggots in candy. Yep, that would fit in my "bad candy" category. I like to avoid live things in candy, especially bugs. That includes spiders.
Allie - Thank you for your fantastic blog design advice!
I LOVE what you've done with the place! The banner! The sidebars! And about that banner- I am totally digging it. I knew there was a goth girl buried somewhere in there. ;)
Thanks, Allie! You know, if there's any good time to reveal the goth side, it's Halloween! Off to listen to some Smiths...
I love the Smiths! Hang the DJ! Morrisey is dreamy, n'est pas?
